Audience
Inspired by a recent conversation.
I think it’s easy to get caught up in creating content for what you THINK people want to see or is going to attract new people rather than creating for yourself and your current audience.
This applies to personal and brand.
Keeping our finger on the pulse of what people like at SWEATS, what they don’t like, and what they want to see more of is an important part of the brands success.
We create the product.
The creative communicates its quality.
The community helps us understand where we go next.
And the cycle continues.
That being said, when you’re head down working, you want to scale, you’re paying too much attention to what’s happening around you, you can lose touch with yourself/brand.
I really believe that if you create what you genuinely believe in and nurture the audience already in front of you, good work and good experiences travel.
The audience you were trying so hard to find eventually finds you.
