I once heard Matthew McConaughey say in an interview:
“Life’s mystery moving forward, is science looking backwards.”
I’ve thought about that quote ever since.
What doesn’t make sense to you in the moment might make complete sense in hindsight.
You might find yourself questioning, “Why is this happening to me?” without yet having the perspective to understand what the experience is preparing you for.
When I think back on so many of the milestones I’ve reached, I can see how the experiences that came before them shaped me into a more well-rounded person. Preparing me to appreciate and handle what came with each new chapter.
